About Us
Frank’s father, Americo, started the business back in the 80’s with Frank and his mother out of their garage. Americo has long since retired. Frank has been running the business full time since 1996, after retiring from Florida Power and Light. Our coverage area ranges from Homestead north to Port St. Lucie, and from Fort Lauderdale west to Fort Myers. We travel to Tampa, Orlando, and even Jacksonville on occasion. We take pride in providing our clients with thorough, knowledgeable, punctual and courteous service.

Meet Frank
Hi! I’m Frank, owner and Master Inspector at American Inspection Services. A fun fact about me is that I was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, since my parents were living there while my dad was in the Air Force. When I was a year old, my family moved to Brooklyn, New York, and then to Merrick, Long Island. My wife Robin and I would later find out that we lived only one mile away from each other as kids, but had never met. From there, my family moved to Sunrise, Florida. Growing up, I was an avid athlete, with soccer and baseball being my favorite sports. I still play baseball in recreational leagues whenever I can. After high school and college, I began working for Florida Power and Light in 1981, and retired from there in 1996. During that time, I obtained my Structural Inspector’s License (BN-2343) through SBCCI (Southern Building Code Congress International), which is recognized by the southeastern United States, and now more recently, the licensure required by the State of Florida for all Home Inspectors (HI-611). I am considered a Master Professional Inspector (MPI-162) with FABI (Florida Association of Building Inspectors), providing inspection services for both residential and commercial properties. In recent years, Robin has joined me in the business as my Administrative Director. When we are not working, our favorite things to do are spend time with our children, grandchildren, and furbabies. We also enjoy traveling to historical places, as we both love to learn and experience new things. Our clients are very important to us. We put a great deal of pride and effort into making sure their inspection process goes as smoothly as possible from start to finish.
Meet Robin
Hi there! Welcome to our website!
As a family-owned business, we think it is important for our clients to get to know us, so they can feel good about our company and who we are. I was born and raised on Long Island, New York, and as one of four, was always surrounded by family. Despite living in South Florida for the past 36 years, I’ve managed to hold onto my New York accent. I have two adult children and two awesome grandkids, who live less than 15 minutes away from us, and who we love to see as much as we can. Other than being an awesome mother and grandmother (LOL), first and foremost, I’m an animal lover! Frank and I have many furbabies…Our favorite breed is “Rescue”. In my free time, I love to work on arts and crafts projects, read/listen to a good book, curl up with Frank and our dogs and watch a Hallmark movie, and spend time with family. Prior to joining Frank in our family business, I worked in office administrative positions in both medical and business settings for over 40 years. I’ve always enjoyed the people side of my jobs, so joining the American Inspection Services team was an easy transition for me. I especially like interacting with our clients as they take the next step in purchasing a new home. We take the responsibility of inspecting your home very seriously. We hope you decide to trust us, and allow us to be a part of your home purchase. Both Frank and I look forward to helping you on this journey.
If they are not performing inspections, you will probably find Frank and Robin relaxing in their South Florida home with their adorable rescue pups.
